5th grade Cluster E students at Carrigan took a stroll back in time for Colonial Day! Students dressed up in traditional colonial attire while churning their own butter, making silhouettes of themselves, creating colonial wigs, playing colonial games, and writing in script using a feather quill and ink. While Cluster E had a fun day exploring the past, they realized how lucky they are to have the technology we have today!
Carrigan School held a St. Patrick's Super Hero Day in support of Special Education teacher Amanda Pugliese! All money raised will go to support Amanda’s journey and battle against a rare liver disease called PSC. Students at Carrigan enjoyed a motivational speech that included some incredible basketball tricks! The kids were entertained by the impressive ball-handling skills, and some were even called on stage to perform! In between the dribbling, our students received some great advice about finding what you love to do and sticking with it, and that anything is possible if you put in the work!
