Last week at Carrigan, we celebrated our Special Area Caring Cougars and recognized this month’s winning clusters, 6th Grade Cluster J and 5th Grade Cluster E. Both clusters also earned pizza parties for winning the most throughout the school year. Lexia and iReady All Stars received gift cards for their academic growth, and students had the chance to spin the Wheel of Perfect Attendance for some great prizes. Great work everyone! 🐾🍕

Last night, West Haven Public Schools held its annual Unsung Hero Award Dinner, bringing the community together to recognize individuals who make a difference each day. From teachers to front office staff to security guards and many more roles, our district is supported by people who care deeply about their work and the students they serve.
Those honored have gone above and beyond in their roles. Their efforts often take place behind the scenes, but they play an important part in keeping our schools running smoothly. While it is always a team effort, this night was set aside to recognize their contributions.
Thank you for the work you put in every day. It was an honor to celebrate you all. 👏🎉
