On Friday morning, students gathered in the gymnasium for a special school assembly focused on a powerful theme: the importance of working together — and independently — to always try your best.
The energy in the room was high as students and teachers came together to explore how teamwork and individual effort both play key roles in learning and personal growth.
The assembly kicked off with a fun and fast-paced game of “Pass the Hula Hoop”, where students stood in a circle holding hands and had to try to be the fastest to pass 3 hula hoops all the way down the aisle — without letting go!
This simple but exciting activity was a reminder that:
Success often depends on communication and cooperation.
Everyone plays an important role in helping the team succeed.
Teamwork can be fun and energizing!
Smiles, laughter, and a few creative hula-hooping moves made it a memorable way to show that we are stronger when we work together.
Then there was the Balloon Pop Strategy Share. Each balloon held a piece of paper with an educational tip or strategy. Students took turns popping balloons and reading the strategies aloud.
Students at the assembly were encouraged to:
Believe in their abilities.
Support their classmates.
Take responsibility for their own learning.
Whether you're solving a tricky math problem by yourself or trying to identify the theme of an article, your best effort matters — and it makes a difference.
This assembly reminded us all that success isn’t just about individual effort or group work — it’s about knowing when to lean on others, and when to challenge yourself. Both are essential, and both are worth celebrating.
Let’s keep working hard, lifting each other up, and doing our very best — every day!
