Carrigan Student Council members collected about 400 new, unwrapped toys, and delivered them to the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital Toy Closet warehouse! Almost all the student council members have received a toy from the Toy Closet at least once in their lives.
REMINDER | Winter recess begins next week. There will be no school from Monday, December 25th, 2023 through Monday, January 1st, 2024. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 2nd. Enjoy the break!

Last week, Carrigan Intermediate School hosted a Carrigan Staff vs. Staff basketball game! The game included a halftime performance by the WHHS Cheerleaders, raffles, concessions, games in-between quarters for students, and DJ’ing by 5th-grade teacher Mr. Hughes!

Student council members at Carrigan loaded a van full with donations of canned and non-perishable food items for WHEAT - The West Haven Emergency Assistance Task Force. The entire Carrigan community wishes the happiest of Thanksgivings to all of West Haven! 🦃🦃💙💙
6th grader Antonio won the best prize on Carrigan’s Wheel of Perfect Attendance – a ride to school in a WHPD Police car! Carrigan’s SRO Officer Fink rewarded Antonio with a sweet ride to school complete with enough lights and sirens to make Mr. Weber jump during morning bus duty! Carrigan students with perfect attendance from month to month have a chance at spinning the wheel for some great prizes including a cafeteria treat, a night off from homework, or even passes to a WHHS sporting event.
𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗲, presented by the West Haven High School Theatre Workshop, begins tomorrow! The shows will take place Thursday, November 16th @ 7 pm, Friday, November 17th @ 7 pm, and Saturday, November 18th @ 2 pm & 7 pm. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $12 for students.
