The West Haven Prevention Council has extended the deadline for its Student Billboard Contest to January 16, 2023! The contest is for students in 6th - 12th grade! Please see the flyer below for more information.


West Haven Public Schools is providing breakfasts and lunches free of charge under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) through the Child Nutrition Department. The students in West Haven will continue to receive free benefits throughout the school year. The school districts that are in jeopardy of their funds running out are not on the CEP program. All West Haven Public Schools will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch for the duration of the school year.

Carrigan concluded its annual WHEAT food drive on Friday, as the Student Council collected over 3⃣,7⃣0⃣0⃣ non-perishable items! Great job by all our students who made this drive a great success!

On Friday, October 28th, Carrigan again hosted 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 for their 6th grade students and families! After a quick skit, written and performed by the staff, families had to accomplish 5 academic team tasks in order to find the culprit in this live action game of Clue. This event also kicks off Carrigan’s Canned Food Drive in support of W.H.E.A.T. The food drive runs throughout the month of November and supports local families in need of food for the holiday season. Enjoy these shots from ‘Peter Pandemonium’!
