Great Depression to 1968

Middle of the Mega Corp.

51 years after Hershey's began, the devastating Great Depression swept our country. Surprisingly the Depression caused very little unrest for the company, though a six day strike did occur. When the nationwide catsrophe concluded, buisness was at its highest. Prehaps this was because that in 7 years after Harry Reeses' death, the company was sold to Hersheys (due to the founders' good relationship). In World War ll, the company provided milk chocolate bars and survival ration bars to the military. Years later it was renamed Hershey's Food Corp. in 1968 and accuired many related companys such as Twizzlers.
