Carrigan Intermediate School students Coogan Cardella, Erica Stephens and Eveleen Jiang are winners of the Ora Mason Library's Poe-Tree Contest. The students are in Carrigan's Talented and Gifted program, which is taught by Patti Fusco. Fusco introduced the contest to her students this fall.

Patrons of the library were encouraged to write short poems on leaves during the month of November.

Eveleen and Coogan won first prize in the Tween/Teen division and Erica Stephens won second prize. Mrs. Fusco also entered her own poem and won second prize in the Adult Division.
